Barbie Princess and the Pauper Minamicon 18 Masquerade 2012

Featuring Bexibeans as Erika and Street-Angel as Anneleise.

Music was compiled by Bexibeans using Barbie Girl by Aqua, audio from the Barbie Princess and the Pauper film (2004) and 'A Girl Like You' from the soundtrack.

Choreography was inspired by the scene from the film and simplified by Street-Angel.

Costumes were made by their respective cosplayers.

I had actually seen this film before Bexi mentioned it but she's wanted to cosplay Erika since she first saw the film and so I said I'd be her Anneleise. We had these costumes planned for later this year but since neither of us had anything particular planned for Minami we decided to make these and take a few re-wears. We had always planned to reenact this scene from the film but with a few last minute editions ;)

We have plans to do the wedding dresses as well but not sure for when exactly.

I would also like to point out something I assumed would be obvious but clearly not. Both the Anneliese cosplayer (myself) and the Erika cosplayer (Bexi) are girls. More stressing that I am a girl since I keep receiving comments to the contrary. I assure you I have two X chromosomes and more than ample physical proof to that effect.
